By studying in animal life combined with many years of fieldwork, Philippe acquired great experience and became familiar with the scientific side of hunting. For more than 30 years, he has travelled through many of Québec’s regions. Through the years, many newspaper articles have spoken about his reputation in the waterfowl field. He is a great naturelover and an ornithologist. Philippe comes from a familly of waterfowl hunters and created a new type of specialized decoy adapted to Canada geese and snow geese agricultural field hunting. This new type of decoy was recognized by Bill Miller, editor in chief of the prestigious wildfolw book : "The North American Hunters" which sold more than 800,000 copies in the United States. Regular culumnist for Québec’s « Technique Chasse et Pêche » magazine, he has been informing and explaining the many aspects of his passion for a few years.
